A Precious Gift

As we get older it becomes important to make sure we are aware of the risk and dangers of vision loss. Fortunately, there are opportunities to protecting our precious sense of vision with annual eye exams.

With a simple, non-invasive eye exam every year, we can catch diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration early before vision loss occurs.

Health Promotion in Our Community

Vision for Vision gives interactive eye care presentations at community centers in our local community. Through this outreach, our organization aims to encourage pro-active action for eye care by:

  • Emphasizing the importance of eye exams
  • Answering questions about eye care
  • Referring to local ophthalmologist offices and assisting in taking advantage of Medicare/insurance benefits

Vision for Vision is a non-profit, student-run organization dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of annual eye exams to protect vision. By speaking directly with seniors at local community centers and health fairs, we help patients be pro-active about their vision care and help link patients to doctors.
